Hospital Design-Build Firm Appoints New President/CEO
ST. LOUIS – HBE Corporation founder Fred S. Kummer has announced that Joseph Lehrer has been appointed President/CEO of the firm, effective October 1, 2013. Mr. Kummer will continue to manage day-to-day operations and hold the title of Chairman and Founder.
Mr. Kummer is anxious to provide a smooth transition that will allow HBE to grow, prosper, and provide opportunities for its employees as he transitions the management in the next two to three years.
Mr. Lehrer has been an Officer and the Chair of the Corporate Practice Group at Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. While serving as HBE’s corporate attorney for the past 12 years, Lehrer has gained knowledge of the industry, of HBE and its corporate strategy. “Through his association with myself and others, Joe has learned what makes our business special, and he possesses top-notch leadership skills that will help sustain the success of HBE,” said Kummer.
