HBE Selected for Another Major Project
Enloe Medical Center (EMC) is the North Valley Region’s most comprehensive medical center, and one of the few hospital organizations of its size in California that is still locally governed.  As a non-profit organization, the volunteer community board zealously protects Enloe’s local status and ensures that every dollar earned is reinvested in improving the health of the community.

HBE’s design-build solution met the hospital’s budget with a program that included 191,158 square feet of new space and 28,311 square feet of renovated space including a new 5-story patient tower.

Addition
The addition includes 88 medical/surgical beds and 24 ICU/CCU beds.  The new surgical suites include 14 operating rooms, a 16-bed recovery room, a 24-position prep/hold plus four endoscopy/procedure rooms, as well as a central sterile supply and a dedicated elevator to the surgery suites.  An 18-bed obstetrics department is also provided with 18 postpartum rooms, six labor/delivery rooms, a six position NICU and a shelled area for future rooms.  A new impressive main entrance, lobby, reception, registration and gift shop are also includes, as are storage, support and mechanical spaces.

Renovation
The renovated space includes an expansion to the emergency department, radiology and imaging department, plus a new cath lab and expanded laboratory.
