HBE designed and built the 39,234 square foot, two-story ambulatory surgery center and medical office building for Altoona Regional Health System in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
The upper level consists of a complete surgery center, which features four finished OR’s with space for two future OR’s. Also included are 15 prep/hold cubicles with glass and aluminum sliding doors, individual water closets and lavatories for each cubicle, five recovery bed cubicles with curtains, two exam rooms, laboratory, radiology room and all associated support areas in full compliance with applicable laws and JCAH requirements.
The lower level consists of a mechanical room sized for the entire building’s HVAC and electrical needs.
