Four McLaren Hospitals Completed by HBE.

McLaren Health Care Corporation is one of the largest and fastest growing health systems in the state of 
Michigan.  When it came time to expand four of McLaren’s mid-Michigan campuses, the system selected HBE.

The first project awarded to HBE was Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, Michigan.  After many months spent in the development of a new design with a prominent architectural firm, hospital executives recognized that the design being developed was failing to meet expectations for fiscal discipline, practicality and timeliness.  HBE was called to review their building plans for expansion and alterations.

HBE provided a Comparative Analysis which included an alternative design solution that provided a more efficient design and cost effective plan.  HBE also provided a Guaranteed Lump Sum price for architectural, design, engineering, construction and site work.

Recognizing the value HBE brought to Ingham Regional Medical Center, the health system president suggested that each hospital division conduct a Comparative Analysis with HBE. 

In a relatively short time frame, each hospital cancelled its contract with an existing architect and construction firm.  HBE’s alternative design solutions and Guaranteed Lump Sum pricing were selected by Bay City Medical Center, Lapeer Regional Medical Center and McLaren Regional Medical Center.
