Prior to joining HBE, Mr. Ruder held the position of Project Architect at Hastings+Chivertta Architects, Inc.  He also held Project Management, Construction Management, Architectural Product Management, and Principle Architect positions with Yarger Design Group, Inc., CCM Corporation, MiTek Industries, Inc., and the Kern Ruder Architecture, P.C.

In this position, Mr. Ruder is responsible for the implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) for all HDI Departments.  He will manage the BIM software products, evaluate new BIM related software and technologies, and stay informed on best practices for use of BIM software.  He will also conduct technology evaluations for future technology adoption that aligns with HBE Corporation's goals.

Mr. Ruder, a degreed and licensed architect, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from Kansas State University and is Chair of the AIA-St. Louis, Building Information Modeling committee.
