ST. LOUIS (May, 2011) - Stan Matulewic has been named Subcontracting Manager for HBE Corporation, the leading design-builder for health care facilities across the U.S.  In this position, Stan will negotiate and write subcontracts for the St. Louis-based firm.

Prior to joining HBE, Mr. Matulewic held the position of Post Construction Project Manager at MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc.  Stan has a background in construction estimating, project management and subcontract management.  For the last six years, he has specifically been involved in storm water pollution prevention.  He has developed written prevention programs that meet or exceed owner and regulatory agency requirements, trained office and field operations staff on best practices associated with the programs and performed regular compliance audits on all projects.

Stan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO.  He is a member and past Vice President of the American Society of Professional Estimators and a member of the International Erosion Control Association.  Stan is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CEPSC) as well as a Certified Erosion Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI).
