ST. LOUIS (February 2011) - Matthew Niemeyer has been named BIM Manager for HBE Corporation, the nation's leading designer and builder of hospitals.

Prior to joining HBE, Matthew was an Application Solution Engineer at Hagerman & Company, Inc., and has held CAD Manager, Architectural Design and Network Administrator positions with companies such as MECS, Inc. and CASCO.

In this position, Matthew is responsible for the implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) for all HDI Departments.  He will manage the BIM software products, evaluate new BIM related software and technologies, and stay informed on best practices for use of BIM software.  Matthew will also conduct technology evaluations for future technology adoption that aligns with HBE Corporation's goals.

Matthew, a degreed and licensed architect, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana, IL).
