Electrical Project Engineer

HBE Corporation, the nation's largest and most experienced designer and builder of healthcare facilities, has an immediate opening for an Electrical Project Engineer at our St. Louis headquarters.  In this role, you will be a key member of our Department and multi-discipline project team.

Responsibilities:
•  Manage the entire project electrically.
•  Supervise designers and CAD operators.
•  Perform short circuit analysis, coordinate studies, write specs, analyze problems and write reports.
•  Effectively write and communicate with utility companies.
•  Mentor junior Engineers and serve as a hands-on, senior Technical Design Engineer for the Department.
• Serve as an effective problem solver, and demonstrate effective use of time and staff.

Qualifications:
•  Must have 10+ years of designing projects electrically.
•  Basic knowledge of engineering economics.
•  Must be able to interact well with others; strong communication and writing skills.
•  Design engineering experience with predominantly commercial and institutional projects.
•  AutoCAD, Revit, AGI and SKM Power Tools experience is desirable.
•  B.S.E.E. Degree required; PE preferred; previous Hospital Design Engineering experience is a plus.
