Senior Project Engineer

HBE Corporation, the nation's largest and most experienced designer and builder of hospitals, has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Engineer for our Construction department.

Essential Job Functions:
• Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of construction methods, materials,
    procedures and the Project Engineer role.
• Will coordinate the submittal process and provide a detailed review of
    submittals for contract compliance.
• Shall be aggressive in the enforcement of Contract Documents, pursuit of
    information, and push to resolution various critical project issues to
    ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist in the bid solicitation, bid taking, and buyout process.
• Execute change orders for revisions to early bid scopes.
• Create various schedules for buyout purposes and project completion.
• Must have previous field experience and preferably coming from the crafts
    or has managed craft persons.
• Must be able to read plans, interpret specifications and contracts,
    communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.

Requirements:
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Must have 10-15 years of experience.
