For 51 years, HBE has achieved markedly better results for our health care clients because of the discipline inherent to our culture. Discipline is the essential part of what we do, how we do it and who we are. Our discipline provides us with the ability to minimize or eliminate the owner’s risk. Our discipline enables us to provide the conceptual design and a guaranteed lump sum price before we ask for a commitment. We assume the cost of all up-front planning and design. At the design stage, our architectural services are coordinated with our engineering and construction disciplines to ensure constructability and optimum solutions for the hospitals we build. Our discipline compels us to always serve the client’s interests. To HBE, the client is in control. That is why we assume the financial risk and responsibility for completely satisfying our clients with our design, engineering and construction of their projects. Our discipline imposes upon us the need to continually provide value for clients. If HBE is unable to maximize value of our clients’ program needs and budget, we fail as a commercial enterprise. No other company makes this promise, because no other company can.
